Los manejadores Apache te permiten controlar cómo Apache gestionará ciertos tipos de archivos. Apache tiene una acción predeterminada para cada archivo, entonces, cuando reconoce un archivo, ejecuta la acción. Si quieres que Apache realice una acción diferente, tendrás que hacer un manejador Apache para decirle a este que ejecute tal acción.
Ejecutar HTML como PHP
Es muy recomendable que nunca permitas que las páginas HTML se manejen automáticamente como PHP o SHTML porque esto obliga a todas las páginas HTML a ser procesadas por el servidor primero. En su lugar, cambia el nombre de los archivos en .php or.shtml siempre que sea posible.
Para obtener páginas HTML regulares para manejar código PHP, es necesario que agregues la siguiente línea a tu archivo .htaccess.
